The risk is the cleaning, not the dust.
Dust, textile fibre and construction debris in a computer room do not settle harmlessly. The airflow that cools the equipment is the same airflow that pulls particulate through it: onto boards, into fan bearings, across optical connectors, and into filters that then restrict the cooling they were installed to protect. In a raised-floor hall the subfloor void is usually the worst of it, because it is the plenum and nobody looks in it.
The risk in cleaning such a room is the cleaning itself. Free liquid, a static discharge, a dislodged fibre patch lead or an unplugged cable does more damage in a second than a year of dust. So the work is defined as much by what is not done as by what is.
This sits exactly where our two capabilities overlap. The parent company runs industrial cleaning with its own trained, directly employed staff. The IT division knows what the equipment is, what it is doing, and what must not be touched while it does it. Neither half could deliver this work alone.

Tile lifting, removal of debris and abandoned cable from the void, cleaning down to the slab, tiles reseated and levelled.
Racks and equipment exteriors
Cabinet surfaces, rack tops, blanking panels and cable management, cleaned with ESD-safe, lint-free materials.
Filters, grilles and ceiling void
CRAC and CRAH filter and grille cleaning or replacement, perforated tile cleaning, ceiling plenum work where return air is ducted.
Post-construction cleans
After a build, a rack installation or a strip-out, when particle load is at its highest and equipment is about to be energised.
Decommissioning
Cleaning and making good after equipment removal, including debris clearance and disposal of retired hardware.
Scheduled programmes
Recurring quarterly or six-monthly cleans against a written scope, with a photographic report after each visit.
